Best Value and Scrutiny and Town Plan Sub-Committee
This sub committee makes recommendations on Best Value and on issues for the development and regeneration of the town to further the Town Plan. This subcommittee reports to F & GP Committee.
Full Council
The Full Council Committee receives reports from the various committees.
Environment and Social Wellbeing Committee
The Environment and Social Wellbeing Committee reports to the Full Council
Finance and General Purposes Committee
The Finance and General Purposes Committee receive reports from many sub committees and forwards reports to the Full Council.
Highways and Transportation Sub Committee
This sub committee has no executive power but reports about H & T matters to the Finance and General Purposes Committee
Market and Business Liaison Sub - Committee
Representatives from the Market Traders, Chamber of T & C & Fed of Small Businesses join Town Councillors for bi - annual meetings to discuss issues then forwarded to the F & GP committee
Plans Committee
This committee considers various planning matters. It is a consultee for planning applications and forwards its comments on them to West Dorset District Council.
