December 2009 Press Release Heritage & Conservation Project Gets the Go Ahead
August 2009 A number of supporting documents have been produced as part of the development phase. This includes an Activity Plan, which sets out the background to the project and details the activities planned as part of the delivery phase of the project and beyond to increase appreciation and awareness of the Town Hall and its heritage. It also includes detailed information on the consultation undertaken as part of the project. The Plan can be viewed below.

July 2009 Bridport Town Council on track to submit the second and final stage application to HLF at the end of August.
A final decision on the funding for the project will be made by the end of the year. If successful, work may start in Spring 2010. It is anticipated that the project will be completed within an 18 month period. As part of the project, new town centre toilet facilities will be provided and be open before the Town Hall facilities are closed.
During the development phase, the project has been refined based on public consultation. The planning application has now been lodged.
