Bridport Town Council formally agreed the management plan for the Burton Road to West Bay Trailway in November 2025. This area has never been designated an open space and did not previously have a management plan. We would like to formalise this and hopefully work with a volunteer group to manage the area.
The review considered current uses and looks to improve the area for wildlife and community use. In the Management Plan we have split the area into six key sections. The management plan process included a community consultation to define the aims, objectives and actions for the next five years.
