West Bay Car Boot Sale Grants Scheme
The Town Council has taken over management of the West Bay Car Boot Sale from the former West Dorset District Council, and will be distributing the funds generated from pitch fees in the form of grants to community and voluntary organisations whose work benefits people living in the Bridport Local Area Partnership area.
The scheme is now open for applications for the year 2020. The application form and guidance can be downloaded as follows:

The Car Boot Sale Grants Scheme for 2019/2020 is now closed.
Completed applications must be received by 5pm on Friday 20 December 2019.
Applications will be considered by a panel of Bridport Town Council and Dorset Council councillors in January or February 2020, and grant awards will be paid by the 31 March 2020, subject to the applicant’s acceptance of any grant conditions before that date.

Please note that whilst there is no formal limit on the amount you can apply for, the typical amount awarded by the Town Council is in the region of £500.
Community Grants Scheme
Bridport Town Council awards grants each year to local organisations that work for the benefit of the town. The grants are intended for charitable, voluntary or similar bodies and not for private organisations or individuals.
The grants scheme for 2019/2020 is now closed.
The deadline for receipt of completed applications was 5.00pm on 19 August 2019.
