VE Day 75 LogoNational guidance on social distancing means that no public events can take place to mark this important moment in our national history. Instead, these videos celebrate the 75th anniversary of the end of WWII, and pay tribute to all those lost during the war. Please feel free to use them as part of your own commemorative events at home.

As well as this video tribute, the union flag will fly proudly at the Town Hall, and we have put up other flags and bunting across the town centre.

Cry for Peace, by John Collingwood, Bridport Town Crier:

Everyone should follow the ‘stay at home guidance’, but we hope the town will celebrate and remember in their own way at home. Visit https://ve-vjday75.gov.uk/ for ideas.
