Residents invited to help shape the future of Dorset’s rights of way network
Dorset Council has launched a three-month consultation today on the draft Dorset Rights of Way Improvement Plan (ROWIP) 2026 to 2036.

The draft plan sets out how the network could become more accessible, better connected and easier to use for recreation, active travel and everyday journeys over the next 10 years.
The consultation is open to everyone, including regular users of the network and those who feel there are barriers preventing them from using local routes.
