If you’re a great communicator with local knowledge, good analytical and digital skills and an interest in human rights, read on!

Bridport is a Rights Respecting Town. In 2018, as a demonstration of this commitment, Bridport Town Council adopted a Citizens Charter based on the key human rights instruments of the UN. Working with partner organisations, a steering group is now looking at how to embed the Charter more effectively within the community.

Central to this aim is the engagement of a person to take forward key aspects of this project over the next 12 months. You’ll help us to:

• engage with the community to embed the Charter ever more deeply into the town and the work of the Town Council;
• develop our online presence and engagement through a website and social media; and
• evaluate the effectiveness of our work to date, and develop strategic priorities for the future.

Up to £6,000 is available to support this work.

Whether or not you have consultancy experience, if you share our ambition to develop Bridport’s Rights Respecting culture we want to hear from you.
