Bridport Reablement Centre and Drop in Event

Dorset Council has submitted plans to build a £28.3 million reablement centre on the former Sidney Gale Care Home site in Bridport, creating a purpose-built facility. Due to open in 2028 following a planning application in 2025 and construction starting in 2026, the 56-bed centre will provide short-term, care and therapy to help older people regain independence after hospital stays, or health challenges.
